Welcome to Stayami.com! To help you effectively categorize your listings, we’ve outlined the different listing types available and the categories that fall under each type. This will ensure that your listings are accurately aligned, making it easier for users to find what they are looking for.

  1. Listing Types Overview

Stayami.com offers three main listing types, each designed to cater to different services and offerings:

  • Service
  • Rental
  • Event
  1. Categories Under Each Listing Type

2.1 Service Listings

  • Description: This type is for businesses or individuals offering services.
  • Categories:
    • Health Services: e.g., doctors, therapists.
    • Package Tours: Listings for organized tours that include transportation, accommodation, meals, and activities.
    • Travel Agencies: Services that offer customized travel packages and itinerary planning.

2.2 Rental Listings

  • Description: This type is for properties or items available for rent.
  • Categories:
    • Hotels: Listings for various types of hotels, including luxury, budget, boutique, and chain hotels.
    • Vacation Rentals: e.g., beach houses, cabins, apartments.
    • Vehicle Rentals: e.g., two-wheeler, four-wheeler, boat, vehicles.
    • Event Space Rentals: e.g., halls, venues.

2.3 Event Listings

  • Description: This type is for events that users can attend or participate in.
  • Categories:
    • Concerts and Shows: e.g., music events, theatre.
    • Conferences and Seminars: e.g., business conferences, educational seminars.
    • Festivals and Fairs: e.g., food festivals, craft fairs.
  1. How to Choose the Right Listing Type and Category
  • Identify Your Offering: Determine what you are listing (service, rental, or event).
  • Select the Appropriate Category: Choose a category that best describes your offering. This will help users find your listing more easily.
  • Be Specific: If your offering fits into multiple categories, choose the one that best represents your primary service or product.

Group Tour Package Listing Guideline
If you are a travel agent conducting a group tour package for a specific date or limited date range, please ensure you submit your listing under the “Event” type category.
In the Event type, you can specify the event’s start and end date, which is not required in the Service category.

For ongoing or flexible travel services that are not limited to specific dates, you may use the “Service” type category instead.

This helps maintain clarity for users and ensures your listings reach the right audience.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your listings are categorized correctly, making it easier for potential customers to find what they need. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team!

Pricing Field Guidelines for Property Owners

  • When setting up pricing for your property or service on Stayami.com, it’s important to understand how each field functions and interacts with others. Below is a comprehensive guide to help you use these fields effectively:

    1. Regular Price

Purpose: This is the standard daily rate for your listing.

    • If your listing is a rental (e.g., hotel, homestay), use only the Regular Price field. Avoid using other fields like Weekend Price, unless you specifically want to offer different pricing for weekends.

    • If you choose to enter a Weekend Price, do not fill in the Regular Price field to prevent pricing conflicts.

    • You may also add a Reservation Price (see section 4) as a fixed amount that gets added to the total cost. This amount remains constant regardless of the number of days or guests.

    2. Special Case – Service-Type Listings

    • For service-type listings (e.g., tours, spa services), users can select the number of guests and add extra services.

    • These listings do not require date-based pricing.

    3. Guest-Based Pricing for Rentals

    • For rental listings, Regular Price can be configured per day and per guest if desired.

    4. Minimum Price

Purpose: Sets the lowest price you’re willing to accept for bookings.

    • Recommendation: This should be less than or equal to the Regular Price.

    • Note: This value is not displayed as part of your public pricing but helps in promotional or discount scenarios.

    5. Maximum Price

Purpose: Indicates the highest price you can charge.

    • Recommendation: This should be greater than or equal to the Regular Price.

    • Note: This value is also not reflected in your public pricing plan.

    6. Reservation Price

Purpose: A fixed amount added to the total cost at the time of booking.

    Recommendations:

    • For travel agents: Use this for one-time, package-based listings and enable the “Add Guest” feature.

    • For professionals like doctors or car rental providers using hourly pricing:

      • Enter the base fee in the Regular Price field.

      • Optionally, add a Reservation Fee (e.g., 100, 200, 300).

      • Enable the “Price per Hour” widget and ensure you:

        • Update weekly availability slots

        • Configure the variability calendar

    7. Pricing for Bookable Services

In this section, you can create add-on services with individual pricing. Each service can have a title, description, and associated price.

    Pricing Format Options:

    • One-time fee

    • Price multiplied by the number of guests

    • Price multiplied by the number of days

    • Price multiplied by both guests and days

    Important Notes:

    • These prices are not included in the base price by default.

    • Users can choose these services optionally. Once selected, the cost is added to the main booking total.

    To activate this section:

    • Use the toggle/button in the top-right corner.

    • Enable the price field for each service item.

    • Use the “Add Item” button to create multiple services.

    8. Weekend Pricing

Purpose: Set a different rate for weekend bookings.

Recommendation: Enter a higher or lower rate for weekends compared to the Regular Price, depending on your business strategy.

    9. Recommended Pricing Combinations

    9.1 Basic Pricing Setup

    • Regular Price: Required

    • Minimum Price: Optional (≤ Regular Price)

    • Maximum Price: Optional (≥ Regular Price)

    • Reservation Price: Optional

    • Weekend Pricing: Optional

    9.2 Discounted Pricing Example

    • Regular Price: Required

    • Minimum Price: Lower than Regular Price for offers/promotions

    • Maximum Price: Optional

    • Reservation Price: Can reflect the final discounted cost

    • Weekend Pricing: Adjust for different weekend rates if neede

Listing Criteria and Verification Requirements for Travel Operators

1. Domestic Tour Operators

  • Government Approval and Registration:
All domestic tour operators must possess valid state government approval or be registered as a travel agent in accordance with applicable local regulations. Operators are required to submit verifiable documentation evidencing such registration.

  • Membership in Recognized Associations (Optional but Recommended):
While not mandatory, membership in reputable industry bodies—such as the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) or similar organizations—is strongly encouraged. Such memberships serve as an additional credibility indicator and may be taken into consideration during the evaluation process.

2. International Tour Operators

  • Accreditation Requirements:
Travel agencies that conduct international tours or handle international travel bookings must hold valid accreditation from both:

    • Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), and
    • International Air Transport Association (IATA).

IATA accreditation is globally recognized as a standard for meeting international operational, financial, and safety requirements, and it authorizes the agency to issue airline tickets on behalf of airlines. Operators must provide current certificates for both accreditations as part of their listing application.

3. Foreign Companies

  • Local Presence Requirement:
Any foreign company seeking to list its travel operations on our platform must maintain a legally registered office in India. Documentation confirming the establishment and operation of this local office must be provided, ensuring compliance with all relevant Indian laws and regulations.

Failure to comply with these criteria or provide the necessary documentation may result in the denial or removal of listing on the platform. We reserve the right to verify all submitted credentials with the appropriate regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and maintain the integrity and safety of our user community.
